                        pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix

1/3

cup butter or margarine, softened

1

tablespoon Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour

egg

                        cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting

Red, green and lime green paste food color

Preparation

In medium bowl, stir cookie mix, butter, flour and egg until soft dough forms. Shape into flattened round; wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.

Heat oven to 375°F. On lightly floured surface, roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut with 3-inch gift tag-shaped cookie cutter (or cut into 3x2-inch rectangles, and cut 1/2 inch diagonally off 2 corners of rectangle). On ungreased cookie sheets, place cutouts about 2 inches apart.

Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 20 minutes. Use bamboo skewer to make hole at narrow end of each gift tag cookie.

Place 1/3 cup frosting in each of 3 small bowls; tint 1 bowl red, 1 green and 1 lime green. Spoon each color frosting into separate small resealable food-storage plastic bag; seal bags. Cut off tiny corner of each bag. Twist bag above frosting; squeeze to pipe details on gift tags. String ribbon through holes in cookies.
