Pear Applesauce Recipe
Ingredients 3 ripe Anjou pears, peeled, diced 2 sweet cooking apples, peeled, diced 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (1 medium) 1 tablespoon honey 1/2 cup water Preparation In 3-quart saucepan, mix pears, apples, lemon juice and honey until well combined. Stir in water. Cover; heat to boiling over medium heat. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes. Uncover; mash pears and apples with potato masher; stir well.
