Ingredients
4 large egg whites
1 teaspoon lemon juice or water
6 cups confectioners' sugar
Food coloring in desired colors (optional)
Almond extract (optional)
Preparation
In a medium bowl, whisk together egg whites and lemon juice until frothy. Whisk in confectioners’ sugar and beat until smooth. Beat in food coloring or almond extract, if desired. Use immediately.
